Independence

The Times of Malaya is self-funded and editorially independent. We do not take government advertising. Our commercial partnerships are selective and clearly disclosed. Our editorial decisions are made by our editors alone.

We are a small, independent editorial team based in Malaysia. We do not publish individual contributor names to protect editorial independence and the privacy of our contributors. All content is reviewed and approved by the editorial board before publication.
